- Takeaway Food
From opening their first store in Melbourne in 2012 to the 135+ store openings across the country that followed and even beginning drone delivery in 2022; Roll’d has been on a mission to delight Australians with traditional Vietnamese foods and flavours for over 10 years, and counting! It all started with Roll’d’s Founder, Bao Hoang and his insatiable appetite for his mum’s rice paper rolls. Mama Hoang had been making and serving delicious hand-made Vietnamese food for her family for years - just like her mother, and her mother before her, and hers. Food is at the heart of the family. Bao, and his partners, are now driven to share Mama Hoang’s established techniques and family recipes that have been tried and tested (and tasted!) over many generations, to all Australians. To deliver the same crust-crunching, noodle-slurping, sauce-squeezing, flavour-popping, lip-smacking experience, with a distinct family-centric experience that Aussies couldn’t get anywhere else. In 2012, on opening day of the first Roll’d store in Melbourne, the famed Mama Hoang rice paper rolls sold out in just 90 minutes. Today, you’ll see them rolling live in stores to keep up with demand - and they are not slowing down anytime soon! Even after 135+ store openings, and positioning themselves as the largest Vietnamese food franchise in the world; Roll’d is unwavering in their mission to make the world a little more “Vietnam-easy” through great food and memorable experiences.
About the Opportunity
Right now, Roll’d is looking for new franchise partners to join their growing family, who share the same obsession for fresh Vietnamese food, packed with flavour! The kind that believes in crowding twelve people for a feed around a table meant for six; for wearing sauce proudly on the chin, going back for seconds, thirds, fourths, even fifths! The kind that are looking for an experience like no other behind the counter or behind the scenes. And those that want to join a family – not just a franchise network. Roll’d hasn’t just carved out a franchise model for success, they’ve put it to the test time and time again. It has led to countless success stories with the entire network serving 7 million customers last year alone, huge revenue across the board and almost 50% of store owners choosing to open a second Roll’d store! Getting started is easy! Regardless of your experience level, Roll’d will provide you with unrivalled operational & marketing support, along with visiting your store on a regular basis, to ensure you’ll become a staple in your local community. You’ll also undergo an 8-week training program covering day-to-day operations, financial management, people management and business development, to get you Roll’d Ready from day one.

Buying a business is a big deal! It can open up a new chapter in your life, expand your growing business base or fulfill that dream you’ve always had. So before you make that offer, there’s a few things you should consider to determine whether or not this business is right for you. In a nutshell these include:
In a nutshell, a business owner will ask you to sign an NDA before a deal can commence. This allows the business owner to keep certain information confidential, including client lists, employee information, intellectual property, trade secrets, pricing structures and so on, in case a deal cannot be met. Typically, NDAs are often mutual - meaning, just as you're agreeing to keeping the seller's business information confidential, the seller must also offer that same level of confidentiality to keep your information private.
Another thing to look out for is non-solicit provisions. If a seller has this clause in their NDA, you are prohibited from soliciting any of their clients or employees for yourself or your company for around 1-2 years.
Once you have submitted an enquiry to the seller, the seller can invite you to view confidential information about the listing after signing an NDA in order to conduct your due diligence. Once satisfied, you can make an offer directly to the seller in the Deal Room where a transaction can be done. Here you can also invite any advisors, brokers or lawyers you may have to help make the deal happen. You can even enlist Eden’s personal network of buying professionals to assist you with the entire buying process.
From start to finish, the entire business transaction can be done through the Eden Exchange platform.
